Is it safe to use when I'm pregnant?

Yes. We keep essential oils under 1.5%, the level widely used as pregnancy-safe, so you can keep your routine all the way through. If you're ever unsure, take the bottle to your midwife: everything's on the label.
Can my children use it?

Yes. Use about half the amount you would. One drop is plenty for a child's face.
Is it OK for babies?

For babies, use our Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. It has one ingredient and no essential oils. Warm a little between your palms and smooth it on after the bath.
My skin reacts to everything. Will this suit me?

Short labels make it much easier to know what you're putting on your skin. If yours is reactive, patch-test on your inner arm for 24 hours first.
Why is there no water in it?

Because our oils do a different job: they work with your skin's own oils to help hold in the water it already has. And with no water, nothing can grow in the bottle, so there's no need for preservatives.
What will my skin do in the first week?

If you're switching from creams, your skin may look a little duller or feel a bit oilier for a few days while it adjusts. That's normal, and it settles. Start with fewer drops than you think.

About PURE Organic Cold-Pressed Rosehip Body Oil 100ml

This is the same single ingredient as our rosehip face oil, organic cold-pressed rosehip seed oil and nothing else, in a bigger bottle for using on your face and body. It sinks in quickly, leaves your skin feeling soft rather than greasy, and is gentle enough for sensitive skin. It's also the oil we use in our pregnancy treatments in the spas.

How to use

Massage 1–2 pumps into your face, or a little more into dry areas of your body such as elbows, knees and legs. On a scar, wait until the skin has fully closed. Store out of direct sunlight.

Rosehip Oil | One Ingredient, Many Benefits

Hydrates and supports your skin barrier. rosehip seed oil is naturally rich in linoleic acid, an essential fatty acid your skin uses to keep its barrier strong, so it holds on to moisture for longer.

Evens the look of skin tone. it naturally contains a little vitamin A alongside antioxidants, which is why it's so loved for marks, dark spots and uneven tone.

Clinically shown to improve the look of scars. in a hospital study, 108 people applied pure rosehip seed oil to new surgical scars twice a day. After 12 weeks, 63% had no discolouration compared with 21% of those who didn't use it, and 73% had no redness compared with 50%. (Valerón-Almazán et al., 2015. The study used pure rosehip seed oil, the same single ingredient as ours, though not our own bottle. Individual results vary.)
